Trearddur Bay to SouthStack

The morning light in Trearddur Bay felt soft enough to breathe in. Wet sand held the sky like a second horizon, and I paused often, letting the colours settle before lifting my camera. As I followed the coastal path, the wind sharpened, carrying salt and the low thunder of waves striking the rocks. Gorse burned yellow along the cliffs, bright against the grey stone. Ahead, the sea stretched out in shifting silver.
When South Stack finally appeared, the lighthouse stood stark and solitary on its island, surrounded by the cries of seabirds. I framed the shot, but the real image was the moment itself—wind, light, and the sense of standing at the edge of something vast.
